Not off hand, but I haven't re-read much, so this is a good time to do that.

I am super annoyed at red btw, his post in 5 minutes before eod made it pretty clear he was probably town but also with 5 whole minutes what am I supposed to do.

Han is a dishonorable mention but is apparently going to vig someone tonight so I guess we'll see.

IF DYL is scum Stan going like "still no dyl, where's the claim?" 18 minutes before lynch is probably a good look, seems kind of a weird thought for a scum buddy.

I feel like if DYL is scum Puns isn't, but if DYL is town Puns scum equity spikes. Puns thinks he is the baddest bitch in the yard, no way is he not getting involved on red/dyl at all if dyl is scum, especially with the knowledge that red was shooting some blanks (in regards to at least me) so his post death word wouldn't be gospel. On the other hand that useless splinter on dowolf looks rather poor for a puns who likes to do his best to be present in the topic if DYL is in fact town.

35 minutes in the day Lea went from Achoo who wasn't going to be lynched to put red up 2 over DYL.

Johnbob was early metaing which is a lean town attribute as he was like "OH MAN CHRIS IS CLAIMING NOT DEAD HOLD ON FELLAS" so I mean, that's uncommon but not impossible from scum.

Lea I will just say is 'Lea' for now and not read too much into that. I will let the scholars figure that one out.

for dowolf I will say I like how he had very specifics on defending red even if I didn't much care for it at the time.

Actually for Johnbob if dyl is scum then he is probably never scum with the whole 'SCREAMS SCUM CHRIS POWER MOVE' and then voting dyl, so that's nice. I'd say a lot of the game is shaped by DYL's alignment so he should probably be resolved. I'd say, to our scanning friends, to not scan him as if you get a guilty it's almost a waste and several type of scanners may not even pick up him right. Put those scans on people like PJ, Johnbob, etc. Or whomever you suspect that you think are going to live a long time. Those tend to help town more than going for the hot button issue. DYL needs to be resolved the most 100%, but his actions day 2 at the worst should be a good indicator.

Well, thanks for letting me speak for a day, hope my thoughts, as few as they were, were useful to everyone.

By the way, I have a three year old, a small business, and other interests I have been holding down lately. Chris the mafia stir crazy probably doesn't exist anymore. Even for the championship series earlier this year the game was so easy (the semis were swept by town in 3 day) I didn't have the drive to just overkill it like I would have in the old days, so I wasn't voted into the finals but like, all the game was really was town stomping the ever living fuck out of scum so shrug.

I bet I am in a similar boat to red, preparing for new wow expansion and hard to find the motor. So I didn't go looking, I just played the day cool and made simple observations. I am sure you lot will have a fantastic game though, because this year can truly go fuck itself.

Everyones first thought upon entering the camp was to split up and spread out and look for the cause of all their problems. They had clearly never seen a horror movie before.

Suprak had remained near the front of the camp, closest to the car. It wasnt that he was a coward, per se, just that he enjoyed running away from things and his vantage point near the entrance offered him the greatest opportunity to do so. He nearly took off running when he heard an owl, but after a quick inspection he concluded the owl wasnt much of a threat and decided he could probably beat it in a fight if he needed to.

It was quiet for a while. The silence was eventually broken by another man running full sprint at the gate. Come quick! He shouted as soon as he was within hearing distance. We got one!

With that he turned and ran back. Suprak, deciding to hold off on running away a little longer, followed quickly. He eventually came to a clearing with a man suspended upside down from a rope. He was thrashing about wildly and snarling at anyone who came close to him.

For once, Suprak was relieved. Too many of his day 1s had ended with some townie refusing to claim and eating a lynch because of it. For once, the cycle was broken and a more logical, reasonable day 1 was possible.

Who caught him? Suprak asked turning around to look at the ground.

It was silent for a moment. I did. The voice came from behind him. And Supraks heart sunk.

Suprak turned again to face the man who had spoken out. It was the man currently suspended by his feet, about three feet off the ground upside down. He had his arms crossed and was beaming with pride.

Youcaught yourself? Suprak let out a deep sigh. At least he had caught them early this time. He could stop them from repeating the same mistake they always made.

Hes scum! Someone in the crowd yelled out. A loud roar of approval went out among the crowd of people that had circled the man caught in his own trap.

No, you fools! He caught himself. He isnt scum. Hes just stubborn. Suprak took a knife from his pocket and started the process of cutting the man down.

He wont claim! Came a timid voice from the crowd.

In GOT2, when Shaft wouldnt claim day 1, was he town or scum?

The crowd looked at each other while Suprak continued to saw away at the rope. Town?

In Fuck 2016 Mafia, when IGCD wouldnt claim day 1, was he town or sucm?

He was met with the same brief silence. No noise other than the sound of the rope slowly being eaten away by the knife. town?

And in GOT4, when FFD wouldnt claim day 1, was he town or scum?

The response was quick this time. Town.

Finally the rope gave away and the man tumbled to the ground. Suprak took a close look at his name tag. Red13n. So this time. After all that youve seen. And all that has happened. And the history of these games. This time, now that red13n will not claim day 1 in Fuck 2020 mafia. This time, he must be?

Members of the group looked back and forth at each other. Slowly the truth was dawning on them. What Suprak was saying made sense. A couple of them let out an embarrassed laugh. Suprak allowed himself to smile. Finally. Finally after all these games he had run, he had been able to stop it.

A man in the middle of the group, one of the loudest voices, stepped forward. He nodded at Suprak and Suprak nodded back. The man cleared his throat and spoke loudly and clearly. Scum?

SCUM!!! The rest of the group shouted out. Red13n shouted it out too, for some reason.

What?! Suprak cried out. He had thrown his hands up in frustration.

Well law of averages and all that. The man responded.

We get what youre saying. Were due for it to be scum this time! Another person yelled out.

No! No that isnt what I was saying at all! Suprak was flailing his arms about wildly now, and while he was distracted red13n struck from behind. He took the knife from Suprak and shoved him to the ground.

EVERYONE STAND BACK! He held the knife out menacingly. OrHE gets it! He slowly brought up the knife to his own throat.

Just claimplease. Please claim. Suprak was pleading with red now. He didnt know what else to do.

Heh. Nice try. We both know it was never going to end that way, Suprak. Surely youve seen enough by now to at least know that.

Why are you doing this? Suprak was too shocked to get back up to his feet. It was all happening again. Years of day 1 mislynches against stubborn players refusing to claim flashed before his eyes. Was he trapped in a time loop? Was he cursed? Was he part of some years long elaborate prank where people only signed up for his games to mislynch an unclaimed player day 1 and then theyd all get together and laugh at Suprak behind his back while he tore his hair out?

Because. Red lowered the knife for just a second. Because if I dont the prophecy wont come true.

Propehy? Suprak asked. Prophecyno! WAIT!

But it was too late. Red had already plunged the knife into his own gut.

We did it! The crowd yelled out. They began high fiving. One man in the back did a backflip while another started tossing out cans of celebratory beer to everyone around him. We killed scum!

He isnt scum, you fools! Hes town! Suprak was exasperated at this point and nearly yelling at them.

We did it! We killed town! Supraks words did not damper their celebrations. He was now almost positive they were messing with him. They started to walk off together, leaving red and Suprak alone in the clearing.

Sorry Suprak. Red choked out through the blood. You always knew this had to happen again.

Again? Suprak asked through the tears.

Again. Red twisted the knife in further, his voice coming out in gasps.

But why?

Because Reds voice was barely above a whisper now. We are the legion. The legion of pointless and avoidable day 1 mislynches. And we cannot be stopped.

And with that, he stopped moving. Suprak crawled closer to him. He put his ear up to his mouth and listened carefully. Nothing. There was no breath. No movement. No spark of life. Red was dead. And there was nothing Suprak could do to stop it.

WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME! Suprak was screaming up into the night. No one could hear him, of course. He had been cursed years ago when he hit that gypsy woman with his car. From then on, in every one of his games, a person would refuse to claim day 1. And town, not having learned its lesson from the last game, would lynch them.

Over and over.

Over and over.

Until the end of time.

Suprak slowly got back up to his feet. He would have to find his way back to the rest of the group. They would need him now. The darkness was strengthening its grip on the camp. He might already be too late.

Red sat up with a jolt, screaming. Where was he? What happened? It took a second, but his hands quickly went to his abdomen, where he had just sunk in the knife.

He lifted up his shirt and felt for where the wound should be. Nothing. No cut. No blood. No scar. Just perfect, undisturbed flesh.

It worked he muttered to himself.

Of course it did, brother! A loud voice boomed from the corner of the room, and three masked men made their way to the altar he had been laying upon. Did you ever doubt it?

Red let out a sly smile. Never.

The group laughed loud and deep and long. The cacophony of laughter caused some rats that had been in the next room over to skitter away in fright. Bugs left the room en masse as well. They did not have the intelligence to know what was going on, but evil like this you could sense.

Now, men of mystery, what shall we do? Red jumped to his feet, feeling better than he ever had.

One of the men lifted up his mask. Psst. It is me! IGCD!

Red slapped his hands away and shoved the mask back on to his face. I know that you idiot. I was trying to sound cool and you ruined it.

Oops, sorry. IGCD positioned the mask back over his face.

The tallest man handed red a mask of his own. Youve earned this.

Red fastened it to his face. The top part of his head was now obscured, but his devilish smile was not. So, men of mystery IGCD started to lift his mask up again but one of the others swatted him in the back of the head to stop him. What shall we do now?

There was some low chuckling. Some knowing nods exchanged between the group members. Lots of smiling and nodding. Too much. Why wasnt anyone speaking?

Sowhat next? red repeated his question.

The tallest man cleared his throat. Honestly, Im not sure. I never thought wed get this far.

WHAT? Red looked quickly between the other three. Then what was the point of all of this?

The tall man grabbed him by the shoulders and turned him around. He motioned to a dark void on the far wall that was swirling. Dark clouds and dark thoughts both emanated from the vortex. It seemed to threaten to swallow red himself and the room and everything, everywhere.

Red finally broke his gaze and forced himself to turn away. What..what is that? He gasped.

That, old friend, the man said, removing his mask to reveal a similar vortex to where his right eye once was, Is the reason weve done all of this.

Red tried to scream, but couldn't.

That said I think using it on Chris is a pro-town move, since it allowed him to get slightly more mileage than his usual "dies night 1". So I'm not interested in going after hb.
