Yeah but like I said that was way back when this site was very strict. What you're saying there is no longer applicable. You can get away with all kind of shite now. My own posting style is more aggressive than back when I made that alt and I haven't suffered anything like back then. So what's the point.

You have been around here a long time yourself so you'd know you couldn't even use most swear words without getting modded, and with karma losses too. I remember being sig wiped twice, losing masses of karma and even warned/purged before over tame insults or flaming. Now people do truly egregious shit (full on racist rants, for example) with a slap on the wrist. Perma bans on old accounts barely happen. There was an element of fear before that you could quite easily lose an account you invested in.

It's funny how I used to complain about this stuff now I want it to come back. The place has gotten progressively slacker over the past 3 or 4 years in particular.

zeus, is quintessential example for our moderation problems, with his repeated abuse of the block feature, his consistent moderations for what are by definition, racist remarks with no repercussions, ok?

yet, the mods act as if calling a duck a duck, is a more modable offense, despite pointing out him fitting the definition is modable, ok?

the current staff's work on said issue, is simply laughable, with it becoming obvious a few users are freely repeating oan propaganda. and from all appearances, are looking to be protected from moderation.
