I actually had some of those, but I also had Mighty Max, Micro Machines, and the little TMNT toys too. I guess I just liked miniatures.

Yeah. They had those ones that were like the power ranger belt buckles or something too. They weren't all marketed to girls. They actually were cool. They weren't just a doll that did nothing but move it's arms. I mean, I could still pretend the barbies were choking and assaulting each other, so they weren't totally dumb. Ah, male influence.

Yeah, they are slated for release in early 2021. Sometimes sets drop just before Christmas though.

I'm not even much of a Harry Potter fan, but I want these.
I did buy the set with the translucent deer, for much the same reasons.

Probably not, as Lego generally doesn't place later parts on top of stickers.
The insides look like they have a whole bunch, but may also be painted-on.

Getting a pop-out Quantum Electrodynamics book seems incredibly unlikely.
A little Lego Richard Feynman would be pretty damn sweet, though.

oh, and while i'm in a CE Lego topic that's also a little relevant to the sets in question:

has anyone else had a bunch of clips fail recently? I had my Mixels collection boxed up for a while, and was unfortunately looking into selling it. but when i went to take pictures, a lot of the clips and joints were loose to the point that they weren't functional.

they were stored in my bedroom, so i don't think heat was a factor. and while it's possible some of them had some pressure that could have caused them to loosen, it was a good 30-40% that were failing. i can't imagine that many would go at once without something else going on.

i tried to bend one back with my fingers and it snapped well before any reshaping happened.

I've got a Heroica set with transparent blue axe heads (incidentally, the only set with transparent blue axe heads), and they're going to rot eventually.

based on license and piece count, they should be $30-$40.

edit: yeah, they're already on Lego's site. $30 each.

unless you meant pieces. they are ~250 pieces.

I have not experienced this myself but that is terrible. Contact Lego?

Very understandable.

Lego has distanced themselves from her comments however if that helps some.

Ha, my mom actually still has that one up in her attic... saw it up there last year.

I always preferred the submarine one I had though, folded out into an airbase with nukes.
