I've beaten a few games this year, but I have a tendency to play games up until the like halfway point then shelve them for something else. This was me until fairly recently. Because I was at the same spot you were in a few years ago I have a question. As you keep track of games beaten are you starting to feel like it's now like a "mission from God" to beat as many as you can? It's how I've gotten especially last few years. The pandemic made it even moreso. The scary thing about pandemic isn't covid, but society in general at least in USA. People are going to look after their own interests over the collective. Becoming a "productive member of society" only means make more profit for the ultra rich and run around in the endless cycle. I've come to terms with it all and now finish games without any guilt. I don't care if people say they are a waste of time. Being an workaholic and wasting life away at some job that has no meaning is meaningless.
