ublock isn't working at all with Twitch anymore, and it's kinda putting me off wanting to watch Twitch at all for good. Would switching to a different browser help? Maybe they're wise to Chrome's version of ublock. Or maybe there's a better adblock that I'm unaware of.

Pihole is the best, but I still haven't been able to block Twitch ads :/

Maybe try Privacy Badger and block any non-necessary cookies/trackers. Will take some experimentation since it'll probably break the player the first time you deactivate everything.
