During that time, the youngsters heroin-addict stepdad instead searched online gambling sites and called his drug dealer, according to phone records used in evidence. Keigans death came just four days after his second birthday, prosecutor Jill Brookes told the court. The desperately sad and shocking outcome of this case is that Keigans life ended before it had barely begun. Currie was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of murder, with Eady ordering him to serve a minimum of 22 years, the Free Press said.
