I think it's a regional thing.
It's probably for the few native speakers (or more than we think) that watch mostly English speaking programming anyways.

I used to have that issue with YT, although it'd be proceeded by them recommending a few videos -- related to what I had been watching -- in Spanish. While I know some Spanish, it's not nearly enough to follow commercials.

Ok. Is your geographic populated by lots of spanish speakers? They probably used your IP address to see you location and based the language of commercial on that
