I have grand mal seizures, but luckily I haven't had one in probably at least 4 years. Unfortunately, I realized that I don't have any more bottles of one of my medications. On the bright side, I take my pills twice a day, and the one that's out is only 200 mg while the other one I take 1,000 mg in the morning and 500 at night, so it carries more weight.

All I could find is that I should call my doctor and try to get an emergency refill at CVS or something, but I can't get a hold of him :<

My meds get shipped here, but it's usually pretty quick (like less than a week). Anyone have any suggestions?

Call your neurologist and see if they have any samples (they probably do) if theyre open, otherwise try pharmacy

do you take depakote/divalproex by chance?

Oh dang, that sounds serious. I usually only have a bad headache for a few hours and need to sleep it off. The memory loss is normal though. Just pass out and wake up on the ground :<

I also have grand mal seizures and take divalproex 500mg x2, both for seizures and migraine preventative. That being said, going cold turkey for even a day can be kinda dangerous. I only seize in rem sleep and the last two times I missed a dose I ended up waking up in the hospital. I would definitely try contacting your pharmacy if possible and if your neurologist isnt available.
