in the state senate, the GOP expanded their majority by two seats, unseating two long time incumbents in south arkansas. One of the GOP candidates had a scandal because it was found out he dressed in kkk robes on Halloween in college and went around 'acting' it out.

Similar story in the state house, two democrat incumbents lost.

As some of you know I'm a lobbyist and work with the legislature. I'm sitting here texting the house minority leader about the governor's miserable proposal to cut taxes for high income earners and I realize I know more about the process than she does -- because I've been around longer. Because the entirety of both state house democratic caucuses is the size of a god damn classroom. If I get them all to agree with me, it still won't matter

I apologise if I get upset over the national leftist v centrist discourse in the coming months, I'm just really distressed by the results here.
