British breakfasts are very good. I liked them a lot when I visited the UK. I'll eat those beans over cereal any day. I had English, Scottish and Welsh. Though at least in the places I visited, despite the name changes, they were almost always the same exact food.

Procuring some of them would probably be difficult without a trip to an import shop, though.

Doubt. That sugar spike in the morning seems much more damaging. Hell, that sugar spike any time of the day seems bad, but breaking the morning fast with that amount of sugar is just crazy.

The sugar content is clearly much higher with the cereal (plus milk, which has a lot of sugar on its own). Eggs, sausage, tomatoes, beans, and fish all have decent nutrition to them. For nutrition, the cereal has added minerals, at best, which aren't even processed well within the body, so it's mostly just empty calories.
