being a bird probably sucks really bad. you can get sucked into an airplane. humans have all these goddamn windows that are very confusing. you go down because you don't wanna die from airplanes and all the sudden you get smashed by a car.

From ancient peoples to modern nations and religions, cultures seem to agree that if you want something to be better, you add bird. First two symbols of the USA you think of? The flag and a bald eagle, in some order. Angels are "take human, add bird parts". All sorts of deities and symbols have been winged, and it's always bird wings, not fly wings or bat wings or whatever. Some of them like the Egyptians even added more bird traits than that like beaks to their major gods.

Literally still dinosaurs, really. Birds are most closely related to some dinosaurs (specific Jurassic/Cretaceous era theropods) both in terms of genetics and time than many other dinosaurs were.

Not gonna hate on them cloacae or anything, but there are organisms that are literally one cell, you know? Also, you get all the fun of having to constantly supply calories and water to yourself because you can't retain much since you need to be light enough to fly and (depending on species and exactly how you fly) probably burn calories like crazy while doing so. You also have to pass waste 20-50 times a day for similar reasons. And the actual act of sex takes like half a second for a lot of species, so, uh, "efficiency".

If you just wanna say that you dig the cloaca, you do you, though.
