He has done a great job actively trying to divide the country as much as possible, but there are presidents like Buchanan, who's lack of action on that front is considered one of the major reasons the civil war broke out. We won't really be able to know until we see some of the long-term effects of Trump's presidency really take hold, like how Reagan's deregulations effectively led to the 2008 recession.
