When you put anyone slightly conservative in the same bucket, then yeah sentences like that are gonna freak you out. I would think after 4 years of Trump, liberals would realize how crucially different literal Nazis are from milquetoast Republicans, but maybe not.

And that lack of discernment is why the left will completely fall in line under Biden and be loyal pawns in his centrist authoritarianism. Anything to the right of what he proposes will be seen as Nazism and completely dismissed as an option. Thus he will have free reign of all of US politics left of and including the center.

Trump may be able to pull out Arizona. If he does, he can get to 269 EVs by flipping Georgia and Wisconsin in the courts/recounts. The lead is 14k in Georgia and 20k in Wisconsin. Way beyond the range a recount would flip, so he would need courts to toss a significant number of votes as illegally cast.

And note that he does NOT need Pennsylvania, where the lead is at 45k.

There have been tons of quotes on background with Republicans saying they know he's full of shit, but basically saying "what's the harm" in letting him throw a tantrum. The reason people like Ted Cruz are playing along is that they want Trump's base after he's gone. Some of them have also been directly pressured by Trump to back his play, e.g. Georgia's Senators:

He knows how dumb his base is, and that they will keep donating to him even when they're told most of their donation is going to pay off his campaign debt, not to any actual legal fight. All he has to yell is "FRAUD!" and they run to give him money. He's taking them for the suckers that they are.

None of the allegations theyre scrounging up would be nearly enough to flip these margins even if they were true (and none of them have been so far). The overarching implied claim seems to be that all mail votes are fraud because they were so overwhelmingly for Biden compared to the in-person votes. But we know exactly why that happened (and polls had indicated ahead of time that there would be massive differences in the partisan splits of mail and in person votes)! Its an extremely predictable consequence of Dems telling people to vote by mail to be safe during the pandemic and Trump screaming that mail-in votes were fraudulent (before the votes were ever rallied), causing most of his supporters to wait until Election Day to vote.

Yeah worst case scenario for the Trump team is that they are able to pay off their campaign debt since Trump ran that just like he ran his businesses(Straight into bankruptcy).

Trump has never given a damn about anything beyond his own ego, hes still going to be rich enough to not give a damn about any fallout from him fucking with the United States for his few remaining months. Has literally nothing to lose.

And as I've mentioned before, we are 3 months away from him being able to hold rallies and charge people whatever he wants to attend.
