If you're asked to leave, you have a right to ask for a provisional ballot with a receipt. They are required by law to give you a provisional ballot.

Don't the provisional ballots not count though? Or what i mean is that they don't get counted unless the state is contested like Bush did for florida.

I had it explained to me one time and i tried to use Google but it's different for each state and very confusing.

I always thought it was for the people who wanted to vote but couldn't and they got a provisional ballot so they thought they where voting.

All I know is that casting your vote is better than not casting it. Every vote matters. Don't leave until your voice is heard.

If it does come down to emergency backup votes or whatever, you might have helped to swing things in your party's favor

I assume you mail it in, or drop it off somewhere.
