I'm nerdy and I had always been nervous around the ladies. I crawled out of my shell for a relationship when I was 23 then crawled back into my shell when it ended badly a few months later.

When I was 31 I got on match.com and eventually found a woman that shares my interests and we've been together for almost 2 years now and been living together for about a year and a half.

Do not give up my dudes. Hit the gym, be as social as you can and eventually you will find a person to share your life with.

Unless you have good money, a large faction of girls either because it's trendy or because of how aware women are being made of how being overweight affects the health of women easier, they are dieting hard and often also working out.

So in reality, not only because of the attention they get from men do they feel hot, but also because of the big up tick in the trend in extreme dieting and daily working out a lot of women are doing is making it to where if you don't also do that then they'll only care about you if you make good money.

Good for you Atralis ^_^ I wish for you and your girlfriend to have a happy life together.

A lot of people don't like being told the effects of the gym, and i have a feeling those are exactly the kinds of people who should swallow their stubborness and give it a chance. Just avoid those dudebro gyms in the beginning. Read about the gyms in the local area and im sure there are some casual gyms that will give almost everyone a good starting experience!

I thought you gave good advice. Nice of you to share your experience :)

Im with tc. Just working on improving yourself first and foremost and itll fall into place.

I met someone late last year, not dating but for some reason she's absolutely obsessed with me. Only problem is that she's 320 lbs and lives 3 hours away. Though apparently she's open to losing weight(I didn't ask her to lose weight btw). Real sweet girl other than that, and one of the few that hasn't lied to me before meeting me.
