I distinctly remember Tom Savini's character from Dawn of the Dead having a cameo as a zombie in the film's opening scene. I rewatched the opening scene twice and didn't spot him.

I also have vague memories of an interview where he answered the question of whether or not that was his character from Dawn of the Dead to which he said something to the effect of, "He has the leather jacket, he has the machete. How much more obvious could it be? He's Blade from Dawn of the Dead."

Yet, I can't find any images of said cameo or any trace of the interview. I'm not one to believe in the Mandela effect, but this is weirding me out. Are there two versions of Day of the Dead? The HBO version has a runtime of 1 hour and 43 minutes. The online listing of the movie's runtime is 1 hour and 43 minutes. Did they remove the cameo?

I don't remember a whole lot about this film apart from Joe Pilato yelling at everyone.

Oh, and Bub. Who could forget Bub?

If there was a long running Super Smash Bros. style fighting franchise for horror movie icons, how many entries would it take before Bub would be included?
