If I remember correctly it was basically they found his DNA on one of the victims, who was also a prostitute. So finding some guy's DNA on a prostitute, especially back then, isn't really an indication he killed her let alone four others. Personally I think it was James Kelly. He was a furniture apolsterer so he knew how to use a big knife and he was also in the same areas as all the murders. The five given credit to Jack as well as the other four which are thought to also be by him. There was also a large X carved on the last victim so if you include his wife who he murdered then the other nine, thats ten. There's was also stories in the papers in the United States wondering if Jack the Ripper had come to America because of brutal murders happening in the same fashion. 40 years after he escaped the asylum he was put in after killing his wife he just showed up there again one night. He wrote out where he had been for the last 40 years, though not what he had done, and he claims to have been in all the places the murders took place, including America.
