I've played through 1, 2 and 4. I got 2 on launch day(same day as Metroid Other M) and played little else for a month.

I accidentally voted No it's a Yes from me, I haven't played 4 and the spin off game that came out before 4. I know I played the PSP/Vita ones forgot what console they came out on.

Haven't finished either 1 or 4. Take too damned long & it hurts having everything fall apart near the end of the times they pull off that super unit bs.
I quit playing 2 because the post game missions were full of bullshit like ammo decreasing enemies on a map that you have use lancers/anti-tank units. More frustrating than fun.

i played the first one and loved it. Yeah, you could break the game with scouts, but it was a lot of fun regardless. I wanted 2, but I was holding out for some sort of compilation pack that includes 3.

Either way, I should pick up 4 eventually.

Yeah, I played most, as well as the spinoff Valkyria Revolution. I heard people weren't too happy with it, but I dismissed that since most complaints were that the gameplay wasn't enough like Valkyria Chronicles, which was the entire point. I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews though, because that game was fun. Also, Mr. Stabbington is an awesome name.
