Never played Xanadu (just only recently heard about it) so I'll probably fire it up after I finish 13 sentinels

He's still pretty good for being fast and kinda good at ATS. IIRC he's pretty much similar stats as Alisa but Alisa gets really good weapon stats since she also gets free ATS from her equipment as well. Still I think he outmages some of the more traditional casters simply because he's got a lot more speed than them. While still having the overall Jusis utility package of Noble Ark/Plat Shield/Treasure Sword/Arts Support 2.

Shame Renne isn't around more. She's so damn good.

That ending sure makes me wonder why Hajimari is a thing. Seems like a bit of deflation knowing there's another fanservice crossover game next before the real new entry that just got announced.

Maybe I'm just worried about it because if it's lame in-engine OP.

Consider it more the 3rd crossbell game that also closes out some cold steel stuff and sets up the next arc

It's partly why I think they will get those 2 crossbell games out first before they localize hajimari

As for the game itself, I enjoyed it a lot. Little weak in the middle when they were in filler mode, but that was at least a lot better than the trash part of 2.

Loved the shear number of bosses at the end, did not like how much was left unanswered regarding Oroborous. The conclusion of Osborne himself did feel a bit anti-climactic as well. Everything around him was a bit undercooked and too neat.

I really need to speed up so i can view all these spoilers. There's way too much stuff to do though. I'm currently at 145 hours in chapter 3.

there's another scene after you reload your final save. Just watch the true ending again and it plays after the scene you mentioned

Decided to hit Ys VIII to see if I wanted to do it or the Xanadu replay next.

Xanadu still winning this Falcom wars for not starting with the shitty "accidental grope/boob spy by the MC followed by a slap from tsundere" trope.

I think I realized what my major problem was that was making me hate the demo no matter how many times I tried it.

The default button layout for this game is horrendous.

Just changed basically all of them around and suddenly it's actually playable.

the Emma and Elliot charms both on Rean with other speed casting quartz make him the most broken character in the series

I finished the game the other day and did a speedrun to get the plat last night. Overall i really enjoyed it but wish the older casts had a bit more play time. Also where the hell is Rixia Falcom!
