About 90 minutes or so a night before bed. Im on floor 4. I like it! A lot more than the last one. Combat is a bit simple, though. Hopefully it gets more varied. But the art direction, and the sound design, and animations, good shit! This is the best looking, best presented game I think Nintendo has ever made. Wish I played it last year.

I really dig the Art Deco aesthetic. I wish the floors were more interconnected. Also the impossible architecture makes this very noticeable. Like floor 7 being four floors tall, then floor 8 completely ignores that.

Oh the impossible architecture gets better. It was a fun game. I played it co-op the whole way through.

I've been wanting to get it. But when it came out, I wasn't financially in a good place to get it. I still want to get it, but I'm sad I missed out on multiplayer. I mean, I assume people may still play it, but I have no idea. That being said, I also have no idea how multiplayer is. Haha. But I still might get it...

The campaign is 2 player couch co-op, with one player as Luigi and the other as Gooigi (once you unlock him in the story). It is interesting because they have different properties, like Gooigi can go through grates and vents but dies in water. So you have to use the right character for different puzzles.

I haven't played since around launch time but the online multiplayer is 4 player co-op through randomly generated floors. The objectives change each floor like catch all the ghosts, get enough money, etc. and there's special ghosts on the 5th floor and a boss on the 10th floor. It's pretty fun but unfortunately it's easy for a single troll or dum dum to screw you out of victory on certain floors.

I know there was dlc for the game but I'm not sure what it added or changed

I actually didn't beat this game but I haven't taken a long enough break to consider it dropped. I only have a couple floors left.

Best game in the trilogy! Floor 4F is my favorite. But the game keeps giving you new elements right up until the end!

My nephew was playing it for the past few weeks, and he got stuck at the final boss. It looks fun, but hard.

So I do like this game, but sometimes there's just unnecessary padding, for a game that's already quite long for what it is. Like I complete the sub-basement. Go to floor 10. Then to floor 11, then I have to go back to the sub-basement and explore even more of it??? Why? Or like you go to floor 7, then to floor 8, then you're forced to go back to floor 7 then you can go to floor 9. Like why wasn't finding toad and the supper succ part not my objective the first time I went to the sub-basement?

LM1 is still the best by far. 3 is decent but still much better than 2.

i Really did enjoy the game a lot. Final boss is a cool fight.

I have two main criticisms of the game:

1. It can be a tad repetitive.
2. There wasnt much to upgrade/unlock, gems dont really do anything.

LM1 was one of the things that got me interested in picking up a GC (at the end of its life, mind you -- I bought a Pokemon XD bundle). However, I wound up not liking a lot of elements of the gameplay, such as the fact you seemed to lose life (or the life equivalent) and wouldn't always have easy ways to restore it, kinda leaving you stuck. (Which I'm hoping isn't true of LM2 as well.)

LM2 has a shitty episodic structure that keeps taking you out of the mansion youre in when you finish the mission. Its really annoying and unnecessarily breaks up the gameplay
