Formatting mostly. Mine looks incredibly out of date as I haven't had to use it since 2016ish. From online '2020' examples resumes are starting to look like a page out of the Cheesecake Factory's menu now lol

nothing super helpful.

but if you have a lot of skills in different skill categories you can make an invisible table and spread them out width wise across the page, if that makes sense. takes up a bit less space than listing them all as you normally would on the page.

The table thing might be useful. I've seen a few examples and it kinda looks off putting to me but I'm not hiring me lol the resume trend right now all kinda look unpleasant in general while my old resume is way more concise and informative without all the excessive formatting. Meh.

Look around on LinkedIn, look at how people wrote up their jobs, use similar verbiage for yours >_>.

Tables are useful for *everything* imo - college history? table. work history? table. Just keeps everything lined up and orderly.

Microsoft word has a bunch of templates you can use for formatting. I put a resume together for my nephew easily with one.

I'd recommend having an overall direction in mind when redacting it. Like put the most valuable stuff first. Also keep in mind that whoever will read this will probably be sorting through dozens of other resumes, so keep it short and sweet.

Mine looked like that so I trimmed ALL the fat -- took away most of the dates and specifics, lengthy explanations etc

I also changed my job titles from like "volunteer hiking guide in college" to things like "Lead Mountain Guide for X University"
