Do you guys listen to any youtubers discuss current political events?

I'm not talking about news channels with youtube channels. I'm asking about youtubers specifically. The only one I'm familiar with is David Pakman but I get annoyed by how many times he mentions his sponsors.

A lot of political podcasters put up their shows on YouTube even if their audio podcast is the real end product for most consumers. Just for distribution and reach I guess. Not sure I could really call any of them Youtubers in the traditional sense since those types basically just use the YouTube/Patreon combo.

TYT and Jimmy Dore, plus all the people everyone else mentioned, except Mike. Jimmy Dore is nice. He's possibly the most left of the bunch. He's not afraid to say to vote third party, although I mostly disagree with this sentiment. Tbh I have been thinking about voting for Yang with all the republicans who will be voting for Biden. I think the democratic party needs to see historically democratic voters move to the left toward Yang, Williamson, or Gabbard, more so than the republicans are moving left for Biden. That way the democrats will try to satisfy the left and not shit on them. Jimmy Dore also has hippies on like Duncan Trussell and Marianne Williamson. So if you're into that thing...consciousness, psychedelics, etc.

Something I've come to realize is that the Democrats in power don't really care that much about losing to Republicans. Withholding your vote isn't going to get them to budge on policy because they're beholden to their corporate donors regardless. That said, I understand the sentiment, I just ultimately don't see a coherent political strategy in that approach. If Republicans keep winning the focus is going to be on "I'm better than the Republican" rather than pushing the Democrats to not be garbage in general.

They don't care, but do. They don't want to start a movement. They just want to appeal to the preexisting ethos. If there are more leftist supporters then it's easier to appeal to the left than to the right. I know that they have donors, but they aren't hindered by their donors across the board. I don't know exactly how many donors hinder which democrats and so on, but I assume there's some wiggle room for change.

Just Some More News. Can't really stand most of the YT news people that I share political beliefs with lol
