More things on the cover doesn't make them better. You must also think that explosions in movies mean action.

Hmm I see what you mean, although I think the US does a worse job at pasting tacky bestseller/prize sticker images on book covers

I do care a lot about book covers btw, since I like to collect books and its aesthetically pleasing to me. Ive purchase international versions of a book to get a better cover or to get one without a huge sticker on the cover >_> I wish Amazon made it easier to scroll through different editions too (its super unorganized at times)
