Pretty dumb if true. At least Red's makes sense 'cause in Yellow you can get all 3 starters. You can't in GSC.

Sudowoodo is pretty great. He can sweep much of Crystal. Rock Slide, Earthquake, Faint Attack, Low Kick.

In Gen 2 he had Espeon, and in the Gen 4 remakes and afterwards, it got replaced with Lapras

Because only one person in the entire series had legendaries on their team and even then it wasn't a "main" legendary.

Isn't Suicune considered a main in Crystal since it's on the cover and whatnot? It's been a long while since I played but I remember Lugia and Ho-Oh took a slight backseat in that retconned story arc.

It very much follows the same philosophy as Red's team. Starters, gift (Lapras, Togetic), and required encounter Pokemon (Snorlax, Sudowoodo, Red Gyarados).

From Crystal onwards, you always have a manditory encounter with the legendary. But the only one I would consider canonically having a legendary is Hilbert/Hilda since it's story related

Lapras is faster. Surf kills Sudowoodo.

@Jagus Feint Attack is at best a 6HKO on Espeon. Espeon 1V1's unless Sudowoodo has Self-Destruct

3HKO with Rock Slide or EQ. Espeon can 2HKO with Psychic. Espeon has base 95 Sp. Def. while Sudowoodo has a gargantuan 30 base Sp. Attack

I know it's on Red's team in GSC but Espeon as one of the canon members never made a lot of sense. Eevee isn't required. Actually kind of hidden. And you pretty much just walk into a dude's room and take his Eevee off of his table and walk away. Lapras makes a lot more sense.

I mean think about how absurd it is that a kid is going around stopping an evil organization by defeating them in Pokemon battles in which their Pokemon faint after losing all their health. When you're a kid this doesn't matter but when you get older you realize how absurd and stupid it is.

The Mewtwo thing is a good start but it was just a one-time thing

The Cubone thing, if it's any more than just a fan theory, it's not like Nintendo has done anything interesting with it to the point where it doesn't just sound like a fan theory. Similar to your rival's Raticate dying, so much could have been done with that but as it stands it basically is just a fan theory.
