I couldn't support myself at all this morning on that foot, had pain in it since last tuesday. And I know I haven't done anything that could cause an inflammation, and I've been home for a week now due to a cold.

I had an inflammation in my hand in the summer too, without any real reason I could think of. I'm beginning to wonder if I have some disease ugh.

But I'm forcing myself to go to work now anyway, so tired of being at home. Gonna go get some anti-inflammatory meds I have on my prescriptions for another thing and try that out before getting contact with a doctor, unless it gets worse or not better in a few days.

It's just so fucking annoying, I'm mad.

I get foot pains a 2-3 times a year too, normally I can attribute it to a single event where I stepped on it weird or something.

I definitely hate it too.

As far as hating my body. I'm at the point where I might get through my entire life not once liking my appearance. I can lose weight, but it's never enough not to hate myself.

There is something that isn't gout but is kinda similiar in symptomology, with that one the right med made it disappear like right away.

Maybe gout or arthritis?

Not gout Im sure. I do have signs of arthtitis on the same foot second big toe joint which is in chronic pain, Im bit worried about rheumatism too maybe since I seemed to have similar pains in my hand in the summer for no reason, and it runs in the family.

I've had systemic RA since I was 2, and from what your describing it sounds like it could be it, though most likely not systemic as that would include all joints. They might start you on Prednisone to see if that will help at first, if not Methotrexate pills or Humira.

PM if you have any questions.

Definitely does. I'm lucky in that I dont get the day to day pain as I did back in my teens. That being said I've also got both of my hips and left knee replaced which has helped overall. Still sucks though going to bed feeling good, and then waking up the next morning to my ankle feeling like someone took a bat to it.

Then again I don't check all the boxes for RA from what I know, so I dunno. But yeah I prob should get investigated. I did tell my doctor when I had my hand thing that I was suspecting that but I dunno if they really looked into that, they took blood tests but they didn't show anything.

Thanks, it's so annoying. I've been sick several times this year for different things and it feels my coworkes and boss might think I'm just being lazy or something. But that's more of a me problem prob.

Cba to pm but I have a question. Does your RA symtoms flare up when you have a cold or are sick otherwise? Or when you been still too much?

maybe this foot thing flared up now when I had a cold and was mostly still? If it is that.

man ita 12am and my foot is hurting bad. I dunno if I can sleep

I can relate TC. I have some form of arthritis in pretty much every joint conceivable. Currently going through the ringer of finding treatment. Its fucking awful. Also, heat seems to help immensely for me.

Jesus chirst.

Also mixing NSAIDS is bad. At such high doses there is a real risk of severe nausea, stomach pain and internal bleeding.

Have you ever heard of Manuka honey? It's very expensive, but it does wonders for inflammation for me. I have tendinosis in my left shoulder after it was dislocated playing hockey in high school and I suffered tendon damage, and usually in winter the pain returns, sometimes very badly, and it eases the inflammation and pain more than painkillers.

I rather have a diagnosis from a doctor before trying natural remeeies and man thats expensive like $50 for 250grama.

i know that. Its why I also took some proton pump inhibitors. But one time isnt as risky, I had to try.
