I've always been an outsider with social anxiety. However, this year with the overall reaction to covid from people I really really hate society. It's left a huge traumatic psychological effect on me. I don't ever want a physical job again. I will get groceries curbside even after pandemic. Avoiding people like the plague as much as possible going forward.

Misanthrope? I don't hate my fellow man, even when he's tiresome and surly and tries to cheat at poker. I figure that's just the human material, and him that finds in it cause for anger and dismay is just a fool for expecting better.

I would believe this if I was surrounded by assholes, probably, but most people I know are decent.
