I've been to 3 different doctors, been to the hospital, passed 2 different Covid tests. I'm constantly struggling to keep food down because it feels like there's a chicken nugget lodged in my throat. I've thrown up at work. I threw up so badly last night that after I passed out, I woke up and see that I had left the toilet seat down and it was coated in puke.
I've gotten chest X-rays, I've had my acid reflux medicine changed, I've been on all sorts of medication. Yet they keep saying "yeah it's bronchitis you just have to wait for it to go away." --- TheRock ~ I had a name, my father called me Blues. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Bronchitis can last for a long time.

Post-tussive emesis (throwing up after a coughing fit) can be a sign of pertussis (whooping cough). People are routinely vaccinated against pertussis with childhood vaccinations, but the immunity is not life long and re-vaccination is necessary. It's possible to get pertussis even if you've been vaccinated. I'm not sure if your doctor would be agreeable, but you can ask him to do a culture or PCR for pertussis.

Great news, I had bronchitis three years ago and at least once a year now I get a cold that as a results gives me chest pain and a cough for a month after and the doctor always just goes "yup that can happen after you get bronchitis".

Woke up throwing up again, this time it was super dark red.
