I had a group of 30 orthodox jews I took rock climbing

The most common question they asked was "why are you wearing a mask?". I wasn't sure how to respond. Maybe this is a thing with them

To be fair, the first wave of covid probably killed off everyone it was going to kill that first time the orthodox crowd ignored social distancing.

The zipcode/area where this happened is already a covid hotspot and even the Mayor of NYC was like we might have to lockdown the Jewish neighborhoods which got some push back with people calling him Hitler so he backed off. Looks like this gathering gonna make it worse.

I find it somewhat ironic that neighborhoods intentionally defined by a thin wire around the perimeter they can't cross on saturday, are angry about being told it's a good idea to stay there the other six days as well.
