TLK 2 Simbas Pride was ok but I cant see it being so loved or profitable that they would make a live action adaption of it.

Disney at large has been hiring promising middle brow talent to helm their hack franchises for a while now. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a list of black film directors on a wheel, spun it, and picked the one that the needle was pointing to. This isn't even the weirdest instance of this practice - that would probably be them hiring Andrew Bujalski to write the screenplay for the Lady and the Tramp remake. They got the director of THIS movie...

The original Lion King 2 had a coded interracial relationship with the light girl lion dating the dark male lion. Since the lions are already voiced by Black actors in the live action version, does this mean Kovu's gonna be a White guy this time?
