Over the past month in particular. It's not every night, but it's happening more and more often. I've cut out pretty much all caffeine recently in an attempt to stop this and it doesn't seem to help. Didn't nap today, woke up pretty early, etc.

Anyone deal with this and have any advice? I got tired like 3 hours ago, laid in bed for over an hour and a half with no luck, and now I'm trying to just walk around my place in the hopes something changes

Fought away the insomnia but been having super-detailed covid dreams lately.

They get very long and very expansive. Isolation does crazy things to the brain.

Try taking melatonin an hour or two before bed, that could help.

Try to download a blue-light filter or something for your phone. I use Twilight. Basically as it gets darker it filters out blue light and becomes more red? After a while I couldn't tell anymore.

Try to wake up the same time every morning and go to bed the same time every night. Limit screen exposure for about an hour before trying to sleep. If you can't sleep, get up and read a book until you feel sleepy again.

Lifelong struggle for me. Zzzquil and good weed help a lot but sometimes theres just nothing to be done.
Eating a fat meal and then listening to something peaceful and simple sometimes does the trick as well.
