I think the acceptance of a lot of things depends entirely on whether or not people are colossal pieces of shit.

They're protesting the dead person or for their moral religious beliefs, not a person still alive. So it's a different situation.

But also, yes, I agree they have a right to protest wherever and whenever they want per the Constitution and I don't think it should be impeded.

The WBC protested at random soldiers' funerals over gay marriage, almost always not even a relevant topic as far as the soldier went, and even if it was, s/he wasn't in a position to affect said laws.
These people are protesting Donald Trump over his attempts to end abortion, which is absolutely relevant to the funeral at hand, and he IS in a position of power to change the laws.

The two are not even remotely the same. That's like saying eating a sandwich is the same as eating mud, because both are eating.

Also, as others said...it wasn't even the actual funeral.

There have been plenty of people arrested for purposefully setting these fires. Gavin Newsome also acknowledged that these fires have been fueled largely by poor forest management (controlled, seasonal burns).
