Okay but whats gonna happen to this dude. Im not familiar with whatever charge hes getting
Basically hes getting charged with property damage for bullet holes in the walls of the apartment

none of these charges relate to actually murdering someone

While the other officers where aiming to some degree, he was just brazenly shooting in a general direction.

hes probably doing 10 years for that.

First-Degree Wanton Endangerment: A person is guilty of wanton endangerment in the first degree when, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, he wantonly engages in conduct which creates a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person (KRS 508.060). First-degree wanton endangerment is a Class D felony, punishable with fines of up to $10,000 and up to five years in prison.

https://www.ronaslamlaw.com/what-is-wanton-endangerment-and-what-is-the-difference-between-first-and-second-degree-wanton-endangerment/

That sounds like a relative slap on the wrist.

Is there a rationalization for this charge?

They indicted him on wanton endangerment in the 1st degree

A person is guilty of wanton endangerment in the first degree when, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, he wantonly engages in conduct which creates a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person.

So his 1st degree wanton endangerment actually resulted in someone's death... But they indicted him as if he didn't kill anyone

Holy shit

Three charges of wanton endangerment, each with a sentence of up to 5 years, apparently. Basically getting charged for shooting into the home and other people's and not the whole murder thing.

Be safe Kentucky, next few days gonna be hell.

It's for some of the shots entering the neighbor's apartment.

this makes no sense. like say they killed the boyfriend. it would still be fucked up but I would expect them to say it was justified cause he was firing at them. (nevermind he was justified to fire at them cause he didn't know they were cops)

but they didn't kill the boyfriend. they killed a bystander. the Breonna was not attacking the cops. she was just there. and she got shot. it should be manslaughter at least. this is so much bullshit

Class D felony that has a sentence of up to 5 years. Even given he is convicted on all three charges that is 3-15 years. My guess is the judge will give him the minimum, if he even gets convicted, and he'll serve 6 months of that tops. The only chance for justice is him getting shanked in prison.
