acid reflux, it wasn't a choice, and every time I drink it, it just shreds my insides just like alcohol which was another thing I gave up.

Just replace it with tea. Get stevia/monkfruit if you want it sweetened with zero insulin impact.

i have acid reflux and to get my caffeine fix in the morning I started drinking these



they are very tasty, more healthy than soda or coffee, and have a good amount of caffeine without the other aspects that irritate my acid reflux (coffee, carbonation)

If you wanna beat acid reflux just take apple cider vinegar. Either a spoon per 8oz water or a tablet.

That's difficult for me also but only if I stay up too late then its open season on all the bad food in my refrigerator and pantry.

I've never been a caffeine drinker and I never have high or lows during the day. When I'm awake I'm awake, when it's time to go to bed I fall asleep

Does iced coffee help with the acid reflux or is it just a no-go?

Have you tried espresso? I just do a shot every morning and afternoon, it's super quick and easy and might be easier on your reflux since there's so little liquid.

True, its probably less healthy than pure black coffee, but it does have a decent amount of nutrients, and also the base is vegetable juice so it doesnt have the excess sugar many juices do

At my work someone is always using the coffee machine so I smell it all day long. I try not to think about it, and enjoy the smell.

You mean quitting the sugar, cream, and other artificial shit in coffee. Coffee in itself is healthy, drinking it only twice a day, black. If it gives you reflux, or trouble sleeping, then you drink decaff.

I would always drink black coffee. I haven't tried decaf, but I'll give it a shot.

I gave up coffee about 45 days ago, drank 3+ cups a day for at least 10 years

First two weeks kinda sucked

But then i started sleeping a lot better
had more consistent energy throughout the day
No more heartburn
Better breath
Less urgent poops (still regular tho)

My short term memory was shot for a bit tho, idk if thats related

I drink tea now (one black tea in the morning and a green tea after lunch) and man i still kinda want a coffee

I'm about 10 days and I know all the those feelings especially the short term memory thing, it felt like brain fog for days.

I do about 8 ounces of green tea in the morning and that's it. Unless I exercise then I will have a four ounce cup of green tea in the afternoon.

Still got low grade headaches, plus with all the smoke since I'm in California, it has made matters a lot worse. Good thing the air quality has gotten better over the past week.

Yes it does. I've been taking it every morning for almost 2 years now. I never get acid reflux anymore, as well as bloating from dairy.

It has many other therapeutic effects on your body (such as making your hunger pains less intense and promoting healthy bacteria growth) but the loss of acid reflux is the biggest difference maker imo.

I'll put a hurtin' on a cup of black coffee.

Only drink coffee at the office. Its a big boost, personally. But I could see in 10-15 years now that I wouldnt need it.

Tastes exactly like a normal sweet green tea. That is my go-to at Starbucks if I don't have time to make it myself at home. I'll add a pinch of lemon juice as well.

NP, I personally prefer the tablets because they are easier and tasteless, but they are not quite as potent as the liquid ACV. If you go with the liquid, I highly recommend using a straw because the acid can be harmful to the teeth if not diluted enough.
