The state is looking for an excuse to escalate the amount of violence it can use against citizens, and are testing the waters to see how much people are willing to accept violence that isn't happening directly to them or their immediate circle of family and friends.

Alright, so - my girlfriend had the little speeches by the AG and such playing while I worked. They've been all "aww geez" like they're Morty Fucking Smith about "mob justice" and not kowtowing to it. People posting on gamefaqs.gamespot.com is not why several American cities will burn tonight. People get irrational and emotional when they feel they are disrespected, not protected, not valued as human being, and have no hope of justice. We've known that for decades and yet nothing changes.
