I didn't even know the game had a fast travel option because I didn't bother looking for it. Swinging around was too satisfying.

The weird thing is that the quickest way to travel is to not swing at all.

I feel like they try to make webswinging as smooth as possible without slamming into buildings unless you purposely try to, which means they remove some control and make it a tad bit more automated. PS4 Spider-Man's web-swinging is really fun, but it's missing that exact freedom of control you got in Spider-Man 2. Especially when it comes to going at super-high speeds.
