An absolutely visionary masterpiece even if it did not age that well.

You had a fun fighting game, the kyrpt to unlock countess amounts of shit, puzzle kombat, chess kombat and to top that off you had an open world RPG where you explored the realms of the Mortal Kombat universe where you learnt how to fight as the characters, did sidequests and unlock even more characters in the arcade mode.

Now I feel that most fighting games are so barebones. It's all about the online and everything is locked behind DLC.

The 3D era was anything but fun.

Puzzle Kombat was good, but they overloaded Deception because the roster was shit and the core fighting was super weak.

IT was fun going around the world, and I am not sure if this was in the same game. But I loved Khess Kombat .
