I really appreciate how they're going full dark fantasy for once. I like the mix of steampunk and magic that FF is known for, but FF is also known for reinventing itself every time.

Also, you know FF16 is for sure a Yoshi-P game when a dragoon shows up in the trailer and dies mere seconds later.

I've joked already that the XVI trailer alone has more plot than the middle of XV. I am hopeful for XVI for the time being, again, as long as they don't pull a XII and pull the rug out from beneath Yoshida.

I got heavy Dark Souls vibes from this trailer, especially since it seems like it might tend towards 1v1 more. At least the fights they showed seemed to be one character.
It's also nice to see more of a medieval period like old school FF, been a long time since we didn't have a futuristic FF game. ... Copied to Clipboard!
