"Freshly made" beer generally doesn't smell that great, nor is it readily apparent what sort of beer it is (the yeast smells tend to dominate). You need some aging to get to that point, and calling it "freshly made" at that point is kind of misunderstanding what those two words mean when paired together. That, or you're smelling it just as the hops have been added and are boiling, in which case it's a solid week out from being done and "freshly made" still isn't accurate (though you could identify it as an IPA).

Yes, adjl it's freshly made.

The smell of malt and hops is prominent. His fermentation method doesn't create a yeast smell in the building.

im over the IPA fad
here in San Diego (also know as the "craft beer mecca")
you cant get away from at least 8 different IPA's in any given marketplace
i want some Red Ales, get on it sunny!
