Admiral was literally an overt white supremacist, even as a lead mod. Admins choose suspension punishments, and its been made clear in the past that purgatories are chosen over bans in the past due to attachment people have to their old accounts - if theyre in timeout theyre more likely to just stay away for the duration rather than make a bunch of new accounts and troll the boards. It creates more grief for you guys and more work on the other end than just suspending one account and then dealing with it again in a few weeks if they dont get their act together. I try not to comment what I think of users often because I dont want others to think I am biased when moderating. I take it very seriously and remove any personal bias when Im looking at marks. But I was happy that Admiral got banned.
