I loved RE 2 and 3 remakes, and I'm wondering if Code Veronica has cool stuff like RE 2 and 3 did. I know things will change a bit for the remake, but was Code Veronica pretty cool, and do you guys think it'll be a good fit for the inevitable TPS remake it'll get?

CV was the last of the good RE games. Although I think it was the worst of the original five of the main entries story-wise. Gameplay-wise its the same as the other originals.

The TPS remakes were not a good fit for the series at all.

So you're fan of the shitty tank controls and a camera that barely lets you see anything.

The camera lets you see everything you need to see and the controls arent any different in RE4. Im a fan of not having to shoot a zombie fourteen times to kill it. I, like thousands of others, am a fan of what they did to RE1.

WTF? You can freely aim in RE4, on the older ones, you aim straight, up at an angle, or down at an angle. Also, moving the character forward when you press the up on the joystick is way different than the piece of shit system they were using before.

Because its a thumbstick? Its literally no different. Left/right turn you, you cant move and shoot. The only difference is freedom of aiming because its a 3D world. REmakewas in the mid-9 range for a rating because it was a great game. They completely fucked-up the series with the last two.

Except RE2make is rated highly as fuck. RE3make only has lower stuff because they took out content for no reason. People still love the gameplay of it. If REmake came out today, it would get way lower review scores.

Also, pushing up that makes your character move toward the front of the screen is normal, while pressing up and the character not always going to the top of the screen isn't normal. If you can't grasp the difference between the two, then it's really not worth my time trying to explain anything to you.

They still handle like a tank and most ten-year-olds dont have an issue controlling the older games. If the games had been remade like RE1, theyvwould have been rates highly-as-fuck. You have no point there. Clearly people will play anything with the RE badge.
