it seems like their is not middle ground in most community. Some people will give girls special treatments and some will look down on them because they are girls. Why is there no middle ground to how internet people act?

If there's an echo chamber it's inherently full of polar opinions. No one needs someone to pat them on the back and tell them their average opinions are valid.
