Back in January, Gorillaz started sharing new music as part of a series called Song Machine. The series has featured Momentary Bliss (featuring slowthai and Slaves), Dsol (featuring Fatoumata Diawara), Aries (featuring Peter Hook and Georgia), How Far? (featuring Skepta and the late Tony Allen), Friday 13th (featuring Octavian), and PAC-MAN (featuring ScHoolboy Q).

Now, Gorillaz have announced a Song Machine full-length. The collection, titled Song Machine: Season One - Strange Timez, arrives October 23. Further contributors include St. Vincent, Beck, Elton John, EarthGang, and GoldLink.

The first song on Song Machine: Season One - Strange Timez is a new collaboration with the Cures Robert Smith called Strange Timez.

I'll admit that Strange Timez hasn't been my favorite song from this project, but every single song released so far has been decent or great. The fact that they have JPEGMAFIA and Elton John is fucking wild to me.

If you haven't heard any of the new Gorillaz stuff, I recommend Dsol, Aries and Pac-Man. This has been the best Gorillaz material since Plastic Beach.
