Their console probably costs a lot more is why, they likely have a $550 or $600 price tag for the PS5 and with the new Xbox being $500 which is the same price as Xbox One at launch.

They're bargaining with the executives to at least match Xbox's prices because both models are way more expensive lol

Probably working out the details of Sony's version of Game Pass.
