They were pumped about it, awesome to see that the new series got picked up so quickly. We probably won't be hearing back from this until next spring with a Summer or Fall 2021 Premier. I don't know, the entire movie was showing scenes from an entire season, not just one episode. If you think this series will go seriously downhill after only ONE episode, then you're just hating just to hate and had no real interest in the show to begin with. Either your statement was inflammatory for a reason or you're just showing how out of touch you are with a ground based tv show showing us REALITY instead of REALITY TV shows that we're used to seeing on TV now-a-days, versus the people that watch them. How about a Three's Company reboot, but Jack Tripper is actually gay and it's all about homophobia and acceptance? Maybe a Cheers reboot dealing with sex addiction and alcoholism? How about Seinfeld, but it's a drama about 4 people with psychological disorders? I think this show is going to have star power, I think it's going to resonate with people and it's going to be relevant with the times. I think it's going to cross social and racial barriers and it will touch people before going into the 2nd season. And then that stinger at the end where Carlton is looking to Phil for reassurance that cops will pull you over for driving too slow.
