"No, I can wait," you say. "I'll have some shrimp with you all."

You take a shrimp from the bucket and take a bite. It's the same great quality as the shrimp from the sampler. But that makes sense, because this is Bubba Gump's Shrimp Co. You take six shrimp and let the ladies have seven each. You have shrimp from your meal, as well, so you really have more than that.

Lily returns and serves the snow crab and half rack of ribs.

"Thank you," you and the ladies say.

"You're welcome," she says. "Alright, so, remember, Run Forrest Run, Stop Forrest Stop if you need something."

"Of course," you say, "thank you."

Lily heads off and you finally dig into your fish 'n' chips. Luckily it isn't too cold having sat for several minutes. The fish has flakey, crisp breading and juicy, tender meat. The fries are equally flakey and crisp, and nicely salted. You pour some ketchup from the old fashioned bottle onto your plate and dip your fries. This is a good brand of ketchup, very good blend of the sweet and sour qualities.

Raven enjoys cracking the crab leg opens and Arella carefully pulls ribs from the rack.

"I should be careful not to make a mess," Arella says. "These are new clothes, after all."

"Good thing we have a napkin dispenser," Raven says as she passes it to Arella.

Arella licks the barbecue sauce off her fingers before grabbing napkins and using those to clean her hands.

"Mmm, so good," she says between bites.

"Same for the crab," Raven says. "Mmm, the corn is juicy, too."

She takes a bite then lets out a muffled yelp.

"What happened?" you ask as you dip one of your six bucket shrimp in the tartar sauce you have.

She points to her tank top, and to the bit of cleavage.

"Oh, did something go down there?" you chuckle.

She chuckles and smiles, and she uses a napkin to wipe up rather lucky corn juice. Though, it's not like you haven't been in there yourself, so the corn should be envious of you.

You eat up your meal, supplemented with the garlic bread and sampler still left, and you are fairly close to stuffed.

"Do you want to split dessert?" Raven asks. "There's cheesecake, and there's a chocolate chip cookie sundae."

"We can split a chocolate chip cookie sundae," you say.

"What about you, mom?" Raven asks.

"No, I'm full," Arella says. "You two can go ahead."

"Alright," Raven says.

You wait for Lily to return, and end up waiting for several minutes. You decide to put up the "Stop Forrest Stop" just in case. A minute later, a different server passes by and spots the sign, so she stops.

"Yes, can I help you?" she asks.

"Yes, we were hoping to order dessert now," you say. "Our server, Lily, hasn't been by yet."

"Oh, okay, let me go see if I can find her," she says.

"Thank you," you say as you flip the sign back to Run Forrest Run.

You three wait again, but several more minutes go by, and Lily doesn't come back. For that matter, the other server who tried to help you hasn't come back either.

"I'll go see what's taking them," you say. "You two go ahead and wait here."

You get up and go into the main seating area. There are plenty of customers still here, and other wait staff, but you don't spot Lily or the young woman who helped you. You go to the front desk next.

"Excuse me," you ask the greeter. "Have you seen Lily? She was our server tonight but she hasn't been by, and I didn't see her inside."

"Um, I'm sorry," the greeter says. "You said it was 'Lily' who was serving you?"

"Yes," you say. "She's still working, isn't she?"

"Well, I don't think so," the greeter says. "We don't have a 'Lily' working here."

"What?" you say, confused. "Are you sure? She introduced herself as 'Lily,' and I think her name tag had that name on it."

"Well, let me check," the greeter says as she goes to the computer. "You're the party of three that took the patio seating, yes?"

"Yes," you say. "We ordered the 20 for 20, Forrest's Seafood Feast, Snow Crab Boil and half rack of ribs."

"Okay," she says. "Huh. Yes, we do have server as 'Lily,' but... That's so weird."

She calls over someone else working the front counter.

"Lily?" the person asks. "No, I don't remember there being someone named that working here."

"Right? I don't either, but her name's in the system and she served food to a party."

"What?"

The second person turns to you.

"Can you describe Lily?"

"Um, yes," you say. "Brunette, wavy hair, a bit on the taller side, but not taller than I am. So under six foot."

"I think I did see someone fitting that description around here earlier," the greeter says.

"Well, yes, because you waved her over to serve my party," you say, even more confused. "What is going on here?"

"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't know, either!" the greeter says.

Then a woman screams as she runs out of the restroom. It's the woman who tried to help you earlier!

"Someone help!" she says. "There's a waitress in here, she's unconscious!"

"Oh my!" the greeter says.

The greeter, the woman who found this unconscious waitress, and another waitress go in to see the person. Then the greeter comes right back!

"What the hell are you playing at?!" she asks of you.

"What do you mean by that?" you ask back.

"The woman you described! This 'Lily,' she's the one in the bathroom!"

"What?! Let me see her."

"No way!" the greeter says, arms out wide to block you from the bathroom. "You might be why she's out cold!"

"Are you serious?" you grumble.

"What is that?" she barks at you as you take something from your pocket.

"My communicator," you say. "I'm with the Teen Titans. You do know who they are, don't you? Raven, are you there? Please tell me you brought your communicator to the restaurant."

"Yeah, what's taking you?" Raven asks. "Did you find Lily?"

"See?" you say to the greeter. "Someone else remembers Lily! Which is the thing, Raven. For some reason, it's like only you, Ms. Arella and I remember Ms. Lily at all."

"That's definitely weird. But so you did find her?"

"Yes, a woman found her unconscious in the ladies' room. But they wouldn't let me check her because they suspected me of something."

Raven sighs.

"Do you want me to help or do you think they'll trust you now?"

"Perhaps you should help," you say. "Lily's still in the women's restroom."

"Alright, on my way."

A minute later, Raven and Arella both walk over.

"Oh, you both came?" you ask.

"Well, I couldn't sit all alone, now could I?" Arella says. "And I can be of help, too, you know."

"I didn't mean to say you weren't," you defend.

Both ladies go into the restroom while you wait again.

[cut to Raven]

Raven and Arella walk over and see Lily down on the floor of the bathroom, in front of the sinks. They have the other women move aside as they step forward.

"There's something here," Arella says as she looks around. "No, something lingering. There was something supernatural here, but it's long moved on."

Raven kneels by Lily and looks her over. Lily's uniform looks a bit ruffled and wrinkled, but nothing is torn or missing. Raven feels a bit awkward about this, but she checks inside and under Lily's clothes.

"Whoa," Raven says. "Are these... bite marks?"

"Supernatural traces of a creature that bites," Arella says, "and apparently, removes the memories of its victims?"

"But somehow, those with magical abilities aren't affected," Raven says. "After all, how else could you, Rorek and I remember?"

"This doesn't sound like something I've ever read about," Arella says.

"Nor have I," Raven says.

Raven gets her communicator out.

[back to Rorek]

"Rorek," Raven calls you.

"Yes? Do you have any clues?"

"I suppose," she says. "Mom sensed something supernatural, and I found bite marks on Lily. But we're trying to think of some kind of supernatural creature that can erase memories."

"Lily has amnesia?"

"No, I mean how everyone else doesn't know Lily," she says.

"Oh, of course. Well, I've never heard of such a creature."

"I had a bad feeling about that," Raven says. "Mom and I didn't know an answer, either."

"Has Lily woken up at all?" you ask.

"No, which is another concerning part," Raven says. "I'm going to try healing, the bite mark might only be part of her injuries."

"Alright," you say. "While you do that, I think I can..."

"Work on restoring memories."

"What about figuring out what did it?" she asks.

"One thing at a time," you say. "Finding the creature responsible doesn't undo what it did."

You bring out a piece of summoning paper and draw the symbols. You slap it between your hands and bring out a buttefly.

"Oooo~!" the greeter marvels.

The magical white buttefly rests on one hand while you build up a blend of restoration and healing magic in the other. You swirl that hand around the butterfly to enchant it with the restoration magic and have it fly around the lobby.

"Oh...!" the greeter says. "Oh, Lily! She does work here! Oh, and I forgot to send something in the mail today. I'll have to take care of that when I get home."

Well, it's clearly working. She remembered Lily, and other things. You have the butterfly now make its way into the main part of the restaurant.

"Ooo~! Butterfly!" some children shout with glee.

"Yes, yes," you say. "Watch the pretty butterfly."

The butterfly flies around the restaurant, but the kids chase after it!

"No, leave the butterfly alone!" you say as you have it fly higher. "Go back to your parents and leave the butterfly alone!"

The kids still follow the butterfly but it's out of reach now. The buttefly finishes spreading the restoration magic as it makes a spiraling route around the dining area. You then dispel the summoning and the kids pout that the butterfly is gone.

"Thankfully that worked," you say. "How is it going in there, Raven?"

"Lily's bite wound is gone, and she's waking up. Lily, do you remember what happened?"

"Um, yes," Lily says, sounding groggy. "I was leaving the restroom and there was this girl. She was looking in the mirror as she was flossing. She kept saying the word, 'hungry,' over and over, so I guess that meant she was hungry. Then she spotted me walking up to wash my hands, and... I think she went, 'Mmm,' like I looked tasty? I guess that's why she bit me! And then, we fell and I was out cold and now I'm awake and you're here."

"A creature that could appear as a girl?" you say. "Or a girl that has these powers?"

"I don't think it matters, we still need to find her," Raven says. "What did she look like?"

"She was young, maybe high school at best. Short and chubby, and I think she was wearing a shirt that had a pattern on it. Like, adorable cartoon burgers on it."

"Not anyone I know," both you and Raven say.

"I think we'll be needing our check," you tell the greeter. "We'll have to get going."

"No dessert?" Raven asks.

"If we figure this out fast, we'll get something after," you say.

The greeter prints out your receipt.

"Oh, and since you ordered the Strawberry Mango Chiller," she says, "you can keep the glass as a souvenir!"

"Oh!" Arella says. "I'll make sure to go get that then."

Arella hurries out of the restroom and back to your table while you pay with credit. After Arella returns with the glass, sipping what little was left inside, the three of you start on the search for this mysterious, hungry girl.

"Let's split up," you suggest. "If this 'little girl' can overpower an adult, she's definitely very dangerous, so we need to find her fast. But first..."

You bring out another piece of summoning paper, make alterations to the wolf circle, slap the paper onto the ground, and bring out...

"A bloodhound?" Raven says. "Since when you could make a bloodhound?"

"I may have taught you what you know about animal summoning," you say with a smirk, "but I didn't teach you everything I know."

"Not fair," she chuckles.

"Oh, look at how sweet you look," Arella says as she kneels down to snuggle the white hound.

"The bloodhound will understand our scents compared to others," you say as you have it sniff around the lobby.

The bloodhound sniffs your hand, then sniffs Raven, Arella and Lily. The hound is more thorough with Lily to figure out what is the mysterious girl's scent. It seems to find it and starts sniffing the ground. You open the door for it to go outside, and then you, Raven and Arella follow as it goes down the street.

"I'll fly ahead and see if I can't spot a burger in a haystack," Raven says.

"Wow, you just made a clever little pun," you say as she flies up.

"Thanks," Raven says before she heads off.

You and Arella follow the bloodhound as it sniffs down the sidewalk. People move aside quickly as they see it coming.

"Whoa, a white bloodhound?" someone says. "Is that even possible?"

"Shouldn't you have him on a leash?" another person says.

The bloodhound continues until reaching the corner, and stops for the signal. You and Arella catch up and take a quick look around. No burger shirts around.

"It seems strange," Arella says. "The chill I got in the restroom, sensing the presence of this girl, whatever she is. It was rather strong for someone so young."

"Well, for all we know, she just takes the appearance of a young girl," you say.

"True," Arella says. "But there's a quality to it that gives away being young and fresh. In the same way you would look at a book and know its age from the paper and edges. This was still fairly crisp and bright, like something not so warn down by time."

You'd be surprised she could detail all of that, but Raven's powers to sense ghosts like she did in Hawaii is explanation enough.

The signal finally changes and you cross the street. The bloodhound sniffs around, checking in at the door of a restaurant, but then continuing on. There's a good chance because the mysterious girl was hungry, she checked into this other establishment. You quickly create another butterfly and enchant it with restoration to then send inside. It could be that the girl bit someone else in there and people are without memories of that person, so better safe than sorry.

You continue down the street then stop again as the dog wants to turn right but the signal prevents it.

"Raven," you call through the communicator. "Try going south, the bloodhound is sniffing in that direction."

"Okay," she says.

You and Arella cross the street again and are on Audrie Street.

"Rorek," Raven says. "Bad news. I can see a train station up ahead."

"Well hold on," Arella says. "We don't know if she took a train. She could've met someone who came off a train."

"Very true," you say. "Let's let the bloodhound sniff this out."

You and Arella make your way through crowds and eventually make it to the train station, where Raven has been waiting. The bloodhound goes through the station lobby, but you three humans can't go further without tickets.

"It's definitely detecting the scent of this mystery girl," you say. "And it definitely does stop at the platform, meaning she got on a train as opposed to off."

"How do you know that?" Arella asks.

"There's like a second sight through the construct," Raven explains. "What the dog sees, Rorek sees."

"Oh. Then perhaps I shouldn't have snuggled it so closely..."

"So if she's gone," Raven asks you, "what do we do?"

"We'll just have to keep searching," you say. "Let's start with figuring out what train she took."

You have the bloodhound disappear before you, Raven and Arella look around the lobby.

"Yes, hello?" Arella asks an employee. "Um, could we see a schedule of the trains that left here?"

"Yes, ma'am," the man says.

"We'd also like to see footage," Raven asks. "There's someone we're looking for."

"Um, alright," he says while going to a counter. "What is this about?"

Raven shows her communicator.

"Teen Titans business," she says.

The man looks at Arella.

"You're a Teen Titan?" he asks.

"Oh, no, I'm her mother," Arella says as she pats Raven on the shoulder.

"But please," you say to the man. "We have to hurry."

"Right," he says. "What did this person look like?"

"A girl, no older than the two of us," Raven says as she motions to you and her. "Short, chubby, wearing a shirt with burgers on it."

"Here's our train schedule," he says as he brings it up on screen. "I'll check with security about this girl."

The MGM Grand Station being a monorail, the mystery girl can't get out of the city, but she could go to a station anywhere in the city and be making any number of people into her victims.

According to the schedule, the most recent train left at the hour mark of 7 PM. Bally's Station being by Bally's the hotel is several blocks from here, she might've passed you by as you were heading here.

"Um, Teen Titans," the employee says. "We found footage."

You and Raven go around the counter and follow the man to the security room. One a screen, the security guard has paused on the girl in the burger shirt, and is walking with someone onto the train. But then there's something very odd about the person she's with. The camera looks like it's glitching around just this person.

"Whoa," Raven says.

"It could be because of technology or magic they're using," you say.

"Yeah, that's true," she says. "After all, burger girl magically erased Lily from people's memories. This person could magically alter their appearance."

"The MGM Grand Station is the last stop on this end," the man explains, "because of the airport."

"Airport?" you say.

"Yes, it's actually just the next block over."

"So, wait," Raven says while she thinks. "Burger girl meets up with this even more mysterious person and they go north from here. Did the mysterious person just arrive from the airport?"

"Could be," you say. "It seems like they might even know each other."

"Maybe burger girl came here to meet with the mystery person and then head further north," Raven says.

"Another train is going to be on its way back any minute," the man says. "You might be able to use that to catch up to them."

"But we'd need to know where they stopped," you say. "And we won't be able to keep running around from station to station hoping to choose right."

"How about this?" Raven asks. "I'll send out hawks to go look for burger girl, now that we have a better idea of what she looks like. Surely they'll find her faster."

"Good idea," you say. "I'll back track to the restaurant to get the car, and then we can drive as fast as we can to where she and this other person are."

The two of you exit the security room and the train station, with Arella staying with Raven. The hawks head out as you hurry back to Bubba Gump's.

There's still a lot of foot traffic but you get back to the restaurant and the Challenger quickly enough. You drive back and right up to the station and see Arella alone.

"Where'd Raven go?" you ask.

"I'm already in the air," Raven says on the communicator. "I'll rush to wherever these supernaturals are and secure the area before you arrive."

"Yes, that's brilliant," you say.

Arella hops into the front passenger seat and you drive back up Audrie Street.

"My, this took an interesting turn," Arella says.

"Yes, it certainly did," you say. "Maybe it's a good thing we went to dinner when we did. We would've missed this burger girl completely."

"Oh, that's a scary thought," she says. "Villains lurking in this very city but we wouldn't have known it."

You have to stop at a signal, but you're anxious waiting for it to change again. The second it does, you hit the gas. Good thing you're up front, the car gets going and Arella lets out a surprised, "Oh!"

"Sorry," you say. "Just a bit tense, I suppose."

"No, it's alright," Arella says. "This car's got a lot of giddy-up."

"Yeah," you chuckle. "Too bad it's only a rental. But I wouldn't want to just abandon Shadowfax like that."

"He really is more than just a motorcycle, isn't he?" Arella asks.

"Oh, of course," you say. "He's been with me on all my travels these last few years, all over the world, thick and thin. He's like a good friend."

"That's rather sweet," Arella smiles.

"Found her!" Raven says. "And you better hurry, it's the Las Vegas Convention Center!"

"That is a long way," you say as you speed up more.

"Wait, wait!" Raven says. "I think I can see why burger girl and mystery person met up. They're also meeting someone else. They walked up to a guy in a suit and he's walking with them to a car. It's a big, gold SUV."

"Great, another?" you grumble.

"We should regroup before engaging," you say. "Three versus three. Just watch them and let us know where they go for now."

"Okay," she says.

You still head north for the Las Vegas Convention Center, having to deal with some traffic. You keep your eyes on the other lanes if you have to change course at a moment's notice.

"Where are you now?" Raven asks.

"We just passed Bally's and are approaching Caesars Palace," you reply.

"Take the first left you can, they're heading west."

You make it to the next intersection, turn left onto Flamingo Road, go across Frank Sinatra Drive and decide to get on the Las Vegas Freeway.

"Why're we going north?" Arella asks.

"We need to be much closer to cut these three off before they get out of the city," you say. "Raven, what major street is before where you are?"

"Um, hold on," she says. "Coordinating with my hawks."

You wait for a moment, checking the freeway signs as they tell you what's coming up.

"They're on Desert Inn, the one before that is Spring Mountain," Raven reports.

"We're coming up on that one fast," you say. "Get into position, I'm going to try and get ahead of them."

"Okay," she says.

"Get ready to hold on, Ms. Arella," you say.

You get all the way over and speed up, not worrying about the limit at this point. You go with the off-ramp on the furthest right and take that WIDE turn to go left!

"Whaaaaa~!" Arella lets out the entire time.

You're careful of cars coming in from another on-ramp as you merge back on to normal traffic. You use some chi to strengthen your physical attributes, namely reaction time and coordination. It's the only way not to crash into someone at this speed!

Arella keeps screaming as you weave through the cars and ignore traffic lights! You turn onto Valley View Boulevard, and see Desert Inn Road coming up fast!

"Raven, block their path now!" you say as you near the intersection.

You make a wild turn left, thankfully with the light, and get onto Desert Inn! As you make the turn, you see Raven made a huge wall with her magical energy! The golden Escalade screeches to a halt, unable to turn onto another street.

"I'll box them in," Arella says as she looks to the back.

Arella uses her magic energy, which is an indigo blue, to box this half of the block in.

"So you're capable of magic abilities?" you ask.

"Only basic defensive things," Arella says. "I wasn't just living on Azarath doing nothing."

You look back at the Escalade and see someone get out. The camera may have glitched, but what you're seeing now is a woman with long purple hair, curves, and pale skin, wearing a very tight black dress and rather familiar high heels. You can't see this woman's face but you'd swear she was Raven, just with longer hair.

As you slow the car to a stop, this woman steps to Raven's barrier. She reels back and punches the barrier, and it CRACKS!?

"What?!" you, Arella and Raven (on the communicator) blurt out together.

The mystery woman gets back inside the car, it burns rubber and breaks through the damaged wall! You slam on the gas for your car, too, and hurry after! It's a high speed chase down Desert Inn Road!

After going a couple blocks, the rear door flies open and you see this man in the suit Raven mentioned. He has stark white hair and a suit to match, along with very fancy shoes and shining accessories. But he dumps out a bag of gold onto the street! And because you let off the chi, you can't react and inevitably run over a few.

*POP POP* The tires are punctured?!

"What?!" you blurt out as you slam on the brakes.

You turn the chi back on to hold the steering wheel still to prevent a spin out!

"What in the world?!" you shout as you get out.

You spot one of the golden chunks and you grab it with magic. You bring it over but see it had sharp edges. In fact, they're like giant jacks from the game with the ball and the "jacks."

"Raven, try and anchor that car!" you say.

You build energy as you head west. The SUV's back door closes but you see Raven throw a spear or harpoon at the SUV and hit it in the roof! The harpoon hooks in, chains come off it and lead to a huge weight that crashes into the ground. The SUV drives to the end of the chain and is anchored to the spot!

"Brilliant!" you say as you focus lightning in one hand and Arcana in the other.

You combine Arcana and lightning and throw a very different kind of lightning rod at the SUV! You hit it right in the taillight! The lightning shorts out the eletrical system!

"Got it!" you shout.

Raven flies down and lands in front of the SUV, but her anchor suddenly turns from black to gold?! And the weight moves up!? Raven avoids the weight as it swings up, over and SLAMS down! The weight then goes back up and the harpoon gets out of the car!

"How is that happening?!" Raven says.

The harpoon and weight fly at you like a bolo! But a wall of indigo energy blocks the way and the golden projectile smacks against it!

"Thank you," you say to Arella.

"You're welcome," she replies.

You use more Arcana and pelt the back of the SUV! *POP* You puncture one of the tires! And Raven swings a new hook into the bumper of the SUV! But the bumper falls off? And the SUV starts moving!?

"How is THAT happening?!" you shout. "The electrical system is fried, it has to be!"

But as you watch the SUV move, it moves so erratically, you have no idea what's going on. It not only swerves side to side, but the back end comes up a little, which makes absolutely no sense in terms of physics.

"What is going on!?" you say.

"This is really starting to get annoying!" Raven says.

"Just grab the SUV directly," you say.

You, Raven and Arella stand together in a row and use both hands to reach out for the Escalade. The tires don't start burning rubber, so you're even more confused. Is it not moving under the power of the engine?

A rear passenger window opens and something flops out part way. It has very messy hair, and there's an ear somewhere in there. It's a person! They raise their head and... yawn? A very loud yawn, and... You're... You're suddenly tired...!?

"Wha..." you manage to say as it's harder to hold up your arms.

You three lose your magical grip and the SUV is free. It gets moving again while you feel like sitting down. You end up sitting on the ground, even as you reach out for the golden SUV.

Raven and Arella end up leaning on you from both sides. As the SUV leaves, your start regaining energy.

"What just happened?!" you say, still a bit groggy.

"Oh, sorry," Raven and Arella both say as they sit up.

"So, four metahumans?" Raven says. "I don't know if all of that was magic."

"They're getting away," Arella says.

"Well our tires will need repairs first," you say as you look back at the Challenger.

"And that yawn," Raven says as she stands up first. "That was what affected us, right?"

"It had to be," you say. "It was night and day with that yawn."

"So what do we do then?" Arella asks. "The only one that can pursue at this point is Raven with her flight."

"That drowzy yawn power is their ace in the hole, too," Raven says. "An area of effect that is essentially being within earshot keeps us at a distance. And I don't know how they turned my magical energy into solid gold, but that neutralizes anything less than just blowing them up!"

"Yeah, we can't do that," you say.

You think as quickly as you can on all the logistics: the SUV running away, your Challenger needing the tires fixed, the powers these four seem to have, and the potential for more unknowns.

"We have to keep trying, though. Keep an eye on the SUV with a hawk."

"On it," she says.

You go back to the Challenger and use some basic repair magic to get those tires patched up. You have to use some wind magic to fill the tires again, and you do it carefully so you don't over inflate.

"They're still heading west," Raven says. "They're clearly getting out of town as quickly as they can now."

"Then we better hurry," you say as you get back in the driver's seat.

"It's alright, mom," Raven says as she and Arella go to the car. "You can stay in the front seat. I'll probably have to get out in a bit anyway."

You continue down Desert Inn Road at high speed to hurry after the SUV.

"They're turning north," Raven says. "Town Center Drive, before the freeway."

"We're almost there," you say as you can see the freeway in the distance. "I'm right about the electrical being fried. They should be out of town by now if the car was moving under its own power."

"Yes, it's clearly some kind of telekinesis or magic moving the car for them," Arella says. "Wait, that has to be them up ahead."

There's almost no cars on the road at this point, since you're heading into Las Vegas suburbs. And with no cars directly in front of you, you can see something twinkling in the light of your headlights.

"Yeah, that's them," Raven says. "My hawk can see us."

You speed up a bit more and prepare mana.

"Raven, prepare Sound magic," you say while having the windows roll down. "That mute trick I did in New Orleans, remember?"

"Yes! Of course!" Raven says. "I'm on it!"

Raven goes out a window while you do your best to lean out your window and aim at the golden SUV as you come up fast.

"Silentium!" you shout as you hurl a mute spell at the SUV.

You definitely hit the vehicle, and you don't hear the SUV's tires moving. Raven swoops in from above just as the floppy person with messy hair is put out the window again.

"Silentium!" she says to add on to yours.

The floppy person yawns but you don't hear it at all! It worked! You'll just close your eyes for a second...

"WHOA!" Arella says.

The car moves suddenly and you snap awake!

"What happened?!" you both say.

"You muted them but you still dozed off?" Arella says. "How is that possible?"

"Oh, I'm such an idiot," you say as you sit properly. "Echophenomena!"

"A what?"

"The automatic imitation of another's words and actions," you say. "It also connects to empathy. Just SEEING that human Muppet yawn triggers wanting to yawn!"

"Oh no!" Arella says. "Then what now?"

"It'll be fine," you say. "Raven is coming in from above, she didn't see the yawn."

Speaking of which, Raven shouts "Azarath! Metrion! ZINTHOS!" and her magic creates a twisting ramp! The SUV drives on it and TWISTS through the air!! You'd imagine the four inside are screaming, but you can't hear it anyway because of Silentium.

But then, in another defiance of physics, the SUV finishes the spiral faster than it should and lands, albeit roughly, on the tires! And they somehow make the turn to go north! You follow, managing to drift to keep momentum. Raven also follows, and you all pass through a school zone! Good thing it's nighttime. Then there's a HUGE four way intersection and the SUV turns left to go west again! You end up burning some rubber to make the turn this time!

You go down Sahara Avenue, with the freeway, or the Bruce Woodbury Beltway in this case, coming up fast! The SUV takes another insanely cartoonish turn to get on the beltway, you follow, and you hurry up to get right behind them. You use the nose of the Challenger to push the SUV sideways! It spins around, but it keeps moving, just backwards! And you get a better look at that woman who resembled Raven, and she resembles her even more now that you see her face! She's in the driver's seat but no hands on the wheel, so the SUV is definitely moving because of some kind of ability.

It's the man with the white hair that's looking back so he must be the one moving the SUV with his powers. There's another intersection coming up, and you're trying to read off the man in white what he's planning. The light's turning green to yellow, he's totally going to risk running the red light so you'll just have to run it, too. He waves his hand left, so you turn left, and you both nearly hit a car that was coming from the right as it passes through! Now you're on Charleston Boulevard, going west again, and through more suburbs!

Now you're heading out of Vegas, and there's a lot of open space by the... Redrock Detention Basin? Well alright. There's something going on over there, with cars running around and hitting each other. A demolition derby, perhaps? Wait, there's a big red monster truck in the mix. It smashes over quite a few cars, as it heads this way!?

The big red monster truck smashes onto the road, but in the wrong lane! Cars coming from the other direction have to get out of the way to avoid being run over! But why!?

The monster truck is moving up closer and closer behind you. The four inside the SUV are starting to move and get out through the windows. The not Raven drags the floppy person out and basically throws them around like a rag doll to get them on the roof. She also helps burger girl get up on top.

Raven swoops in, grapples with the other her, but has to watch out for burger girl's teeth! This allows the doppelganger to use that strength of hers to throw Raven for a loop!

The monster truck stays side by side with you and the SUV. The floppy person is used like a rope between burger girl and not Raven to get up to the monster truck, "Hellspawn 6." Those three are in, then the man in white finally gets out and onto the roof. He uses the same power that has been moving the SUV around to pop the back wheels up, and he runs up to be as high as he can before he JUMPS to the monster truck, where his cohorts catch him and drag him inside to join them. Then the SUV is left to drop, skid and turn sideways!

You slam on the brakes, turn so your side is facing the SUV.

"CUSTOS!" you cast.

Your Guardian spell blocks the SUV as everything skids to a stop. The monster truck gets away off into the night, and you sigh as you let yourself rest against the steering wheel.

"Well," you say. "We're definitely done chasing them now."

"Are you alright?" Raven asks as she flies back over.

"Yes, dear," Arella says, still breathing a little heavy. "My heart's racing, but I'll live."
