imo, the Mike Scully era (S9-S12) was when it stopped being consistently great, and the Early Al Jean era (13-20ish) was very not good.

but honestly, why not just watch it and make up your own mind? or at least watch it until you stop enjoying it.

Probably this. Elements of bad in season 10, some clunkers in season 11, then fairly consistently bad from there on.

Saddlesore Galactica is the first episode I outright don't like.
