Mark Rylance is opening up with his thoughts on the allegations made against Johnny Depp.

The Oscar-winning actor stars in the new movie Waiting for the Barbarians.

Johnny was accused of domestic violence against Amber in an op-ed that she wrote for the Washington Postand he is suing her for $50 million for defamation.

My impression of him was a very loving and very sensitive and very trustworthy person, Mark said in a new interview with The Times UK. Intensely, intensely shy. You know? Like Daniel Day-Lewis and so many great actors are. The accusations that were around at the time we were making the film were of physical violence. And he obviously denied this and I found his denial completely believable. It didnt seem to be part of his character at all.

The Times reports that Heard was met with a number of boos and shouts of liar, led by Patricia Murray, a 51-year-old secretary from east London. Fans of her former husband dubbed Deppheads then threw flowers at the actors car and chanted Justice for Johnny as he left the court shortly after. The 57-year-old was also mobbed by fans as he arrived at court that day, with the MailOnline reporting that the largely female group carried banners reading Justice for Johnny and Abuse has no gender. Men can be victims too.

Depp, who plays as a guitarist in the band Hollywood Vampires, has been wearing a bandanna from the Vintage Guitar Emporium, where he buys his guitars, to court. The Times reports that he gave waiting fans their own 9.99 bandanas and handwritten thank you notes, embracing his supporters while his bodyguard and court security staff attempted to control the crowds.

One Angel Roses, a 32-year-old barman and singer who dresses as Captain Jack Sparrow perhaps Depps most famous character is quoted in the Timesas stating that Depp hugged him, telling him: You look good.
