Lady Bird What We do in the Shadows Anything with Rooney Mara Vampyr Hausu Woman in the Dunes City Lights David Lynch Carl Theodor Dreyer Charlie Chaplin David Cronenberg Netflix Hulu HBO Max Showtime I've been watching a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000 lately, and older, schlocky horror films that The Film Detective plays. I don't go to the theater. The last movie I saw in theater was Lady Bird. Before that, Lincoln. Before that, probably Little Miss Sunshine. So basically never. Not many, just a couple dozen of my very favorites. The Twilight Zone Beavis and Butt-Head Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! My Brilliant Friend What I've seen is pretty forgettable to just bad. People have insisted to me that Logan and The Joker are legit, but I haven't bothered to watch them. Don't get me wrong; there are bad movies I enjoy. Super hero movies just aren't my thing. I generally detest the notion that justice being served, and good prevailing qualify as resolution. It's predictable and lame, and without purpose. Logan is marvel but it wasn't in the MCU. it was made by Fox back before they were owned by Disney who owns Marvel. and it was part of a seperate universe of X-Men movies that are not part of the MCU.
