Because you can only beat some fighters in certain ways that are not obvious.

Ive never been able to beat the Bull guy

just never get the timing right

I managed to beat the first guy, but King Hippo murdered me lol

Joe - weirdly one of the harder ones. Hes never beat me, but I dont really understand how to win effectively. I can never beat him in R1, and half the time I go into R3.

Keiser - Easiest fight. I lost to him twice because of timing out (is it even possible to have the judges let you win?) but then figured out his moves. I beat him once in the first round, but every other time it takes me two or three rounds.

Honda - fuck this guy. He beats you up in like five punches, and blocks everything. Then he has this move where he pummels you forever. I must have fought him 30 times before I knocked him out even once. I finally beat him a while ago but it felt like luck <.< not sure if Ill fight him again or just use the code to skip to the major league lmao

First Major Fight (didnt catch his name) - super simple, but again, a time waster. I lost the first time, and the second time I lost because I ran out of time. But the third time, I just kept punching. 2-3 punches, hed swing, Id dodge. Repeat. Beat him in R3.

King Hippo - Only fought him once, but lost hard. His moves seem totally random and he hits hard
