Do any Americans have this same issue? I've always wanted to know. Or are you always "in the loop" of all the jokes in Family Guy?

I can't watch Family Guy because it seems like the show is geared towards people who are on drugs. I'm not stoned, I don't get most of the humor.

Family Guy isn't great and lots of the celeb references are obscure or boomer shit

I had wondered similar things when I watched Animaniacs as a kid. My parents watched a lot of black and white movies so I knew a lot of the references but I had assumed no other children were getting shit like Gabby Hayes references and stuff.
